This is the part that matters most: commissions never determine our recommendations. We recommend gear by category and use-case — the right ball or shoe for your game — not by which retailer or product pays the most. We'd give the same advice with no affiliate program at all. We'd rather lose a commission than lose your trust. If a product isn't right for you, we'll say so — and we frequently tell readers not to buy something (a strong ball a beginner doesn't need, or a ball as a surprise gift). Honest guidance is the entire point of the site.
